(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, June 22, will be sunny in the morning and partly sunny in the afternoon, with west-northwest winds increasing to 20 to 30 mph by the afternoon.
Lipson said we could see some isolated thunderstorms developing by the afternoon, especially across far northeastern and eastern Fremont County, namely the Wind River Canyon and Moneta to the east. Any storms that do form will likely produce 50 to 55 mph wind gusts. The highs will be in the upper 80s.
Tonight, we can expect north-northwest winds in the evening at speeds of 25 to 35 mph, diminishing after midnight, and becoming northeast as a weak cool front pushes south across the area, with lows around 50 degrees.
