(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 Meteorologist Dave Lipson has reported that today, July 18, will be a typical mid-summer day in central Wyoming, with sunny skies in the morning and partly sunny skies in the afternoon. Cloudy conditions are expected tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has shared that showers and thunderstorms will be widespread across the forecast area this afternoon, however, starting in western portions and spreading eastward throughout the rest of the day. The NWSR also advises that there is a marginal risk that some of these storms could be severe with wind gusts up to 60 mph.
High temperatures will be in the 80s and upper 70s today, with lows tonight in the lower 60s and upper 50s.
