(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, May 28, will be sunny and hot with a high in the upper 80s. It will also be rather breezy with south winds of 20 to 30 mph and a few gusts of 35 mph as winds pick up in speed ahead of that approaching, vertically-stacked low-pressure center over California.
Tonight, that low-pressure center will open up as an open trough and track east across the Great Basin. As a result, we’ll have south winds of 27 to 33 mph. Lows will be in the lower to mid 50s.
