(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, May 25, will be a repeat of yesterday’s weather, with mostly sunny skies in the morning (partly sunny in the afternoon), possible isolated afternoon showers or thunderstorms, and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows in the mid to upper 40s.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, winds will turn southerly and increase to speeds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 mph as the circulation ahead of a vigorous low-pressure center over the Pacific Northwest spreads east into Wyoming. Pacific moisture will spread north into Wyoming within these southerly winds, and the combination of added moisture and increasing instability will result in the potential for strong afternoon thunderstorms with 50 to 55 mph wind gusts, frequent lightning, locally heavy rainfall, and the possibility of large hail.
