(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, May 12, will be mostly sunny, windy, and warm.
A low-pressure center over the Pacific Northwest will approach the area, tightening the pressure gradient and leading to southwest winds gusting up to 45 mph. Those winds will continue into tonight under clear skies.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also reported that drier conditions and the gusty winds will combine to lead to elevated fire weather conditions. Any burning is highly discouraged.
High temperatures will be in the 70′ and 80’s today, with lows tonight in the 40’s and lower 50’s.
