(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, March 4, will be mostly sunny in the morning, with increasing clouds in the afternoon as a low-pressure system in the Great Basin approaches the area.
Highs will be in the upper 50s, with southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph, with some gusts of 30 to 40 mph in southeast Fremont County.
For tonight, conditions will be mostly cloudy with widely scattered rain and snow showers, and lows around 30 degrees. Southwest winds will continue at 15 to 25 mph, with gusts of 30 to 40 mph in southeast Fremont County.
And then for tomorrow, Thursday, the deeply stacked low-pressure center will track right across central Wyoming, bringing widespread rain and snow across the Wind River Basin under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be cooler because of the clouds and precipitation, with highs in the low 40s. Togwotee Pass will likely see 5 to 10 inches of snow, and South Pass at 4 to 8 inches, with Beaver Rim possibly receiving an inch or two.
