(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, March 12, will be mostly sunny with increasing southwest winds gusting up 25 mph ahead of the next approaching Pacific weather system.
Lipson added that those winds will continue into tonight under partly cloudy skies.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also shared that the approaching weather system will bring snow to western Wyoming late tonight through Thursday, spreading across remaining areas through Friday morning, and that winds will ramp up even more for both Thursday and Friday.
High temperatures will vary today, with Lander, Riverton, Jeffrey City, and Shoshoni in the 50’s, Dubois at 49 degrees, and the South Pass area at 38 degrees.
Lows tonight will be in the 30’s and upper 20’s.
