(Shoshoni, WY) – A mountain lion was recently spotted at the Tough Creek Campground in Boysen State Park, according to a post shared on the Boysen State Park Facebook page on June 2.
The post states that campground host Gary Philpot saw the mountain lion making his way through the camp at site 301 earlier this week.
The cat reportedly “didn’t hang around long” and was in “quite a hurry to get out of there.”
The post goes on to state that mountain lions are common to the area, but rarely seen “because of their reclusive nature.”
