(Rawlins, WY) – A couple of eastbound sections along Interstate 80 across the state have been closed by the Wyoming Department of Transportation Thursday afternoon due to winter conditions, crashes and stalled vehicles.
This includes a stretch between Rock Springs and Wamsutter as well as Creston Junction to Rawlins.
As of 4:00 p.m. all westbound travel remains open, but conditions are listed as slick with snowfall.
As of 7:00 p.m. Rawlins to Laramie bot directions has also closed.
Shortly after 1:00 p.m. Thursday, WYDOT also closed WY-28 over South Pass to all traffic due to crashes and winter conditions.
