(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has shared that today, August 19, could see near-record hot temperatures, as well as tomorrow, Wednesday.
Slight chances for showers and thunderstorms return to northern WY tomorrow as well, with temperatures trending slightly cooler towards the weekend but remaining mostly dry with slight chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms each day.
Highs will vary across the 10 today, with Dubois and the South Pass area in the upper 70s, Lander and Jeffrey City in the 80s, and Riverton at 90 degrees.
