During the August 18th Riverton City Council meeting, Riverton Police Department Chief Eric Murphy introduced Shannon Sanderson as the new Animal Control Officer.
Becki Weber who served in that role since October 2014 retired in June this year.
Sanderson has been a life long Fremont County resident, has raised her children in Riverton, and enjoys spending her spare time with her family in the mountains and on horseback, according to a message from the City of Riverton.
