(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Flood Advisory for areas west and northwest of Dubois until 11:00 PM tonight, October 4.
Locations that will experience flooding include “mainly rural areas of Northwestern Fremont and South Central Park Counties.” Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected, primarily in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Doppler radar indicated heavy rain, and minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area, the NWSR reported just after 7 PM.
