(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Fremont County, effective tomorrow, Monday, September 14, from the afternoon into the evening.
A Fire Weather Watch means critical fire weather conditions are forecast, and residents should keep an eye out for possible Red Flag Warnings.
The NWSR is calling for western winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 40/45 mph, and a relative humidity as low as 12 percent.
The advisory is also in effect for Natrona and Sweetwater Counties.
