(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for this weekend, from 4 PM on March 29 through Sunday, March 30 at 12 PM.
The advisory is for the eastern slopes of the Wind River Mountains and the Absaroka Mountains.
Total snowfall accumulations are expected to be between 2 to 5 inches in lower elevations and 6 to 12 inches in higher elevations.
The NWSR advises that travel could be difficult, especially overnight on South Pass.
