October Events at the Lander Library!

Here’s what’s up for families, kids, and teens at the Lander Library!

Enhanced Storytime:  October 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th, and 23^rd

Lego Club: October 3rd from 4:00 to 4:45 pm

Friday Free Play: 10:30 to 11:30 on October 4^th, 11^th, and 25^th

Storytime Dance Party:  October 18^th at 10:30 am

Chess Club:  October 10^th and 24^th from 4 to 5 pm

Halloween Plays:  October 29^th at 6 pm and October 30^th 10:30 am

Bookmarked Family Storytime:  Saturday October 12^th 10 am

Teen Game Room: open after school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 

Monthly Book Challenge (for tweens/teens) runs from October 1^st thru October 31^st. 
October’s challenge is to read a spooky chapter book or nonfiction book or one that has a ghost, witch or wizard character.  Fill out a ticket for the book(s) read by October 31^st to be entered in drawing for a gift card.  (The fine print: books must be read in October, not something read earlier.  Graphic novels and picture books do not count for this challenge.)

Kids trick-or-treating on October 31^st can come by the library for a treat from 4 to 6 pm.
