(Riverton, WY) – The Oilfield Ironmen Freedom Riders presented $1,255 to Central Bank & Trust today, December 9, which will go toward their annual Christmas Giving Tree fundraiser that provides toys and Christmas gifts to children in need.
The funds were raised during the Freedom Rider’s December 7 BINGO Run.
Dana Lynch, President of the Oilfield Ironman Freedom Writers Chapter, shared with County 10 that they started the BINGO Run and fundraisers for the Central Bank & Trust Christmas Giving Tree five years ago.
“So this is our fifth one and it just covers the angels on the tree that the public doesn’t come in and get,” Lynch commented. “We provide presents for those kids.”
“Oilfield Ironmen do two fundraisers a year; so we do this one and then we also do one sometime in June,” Lynch added. “We’ve donated to hospice, suicide awareness, we’ve done them for Veterans, and this year I believe we’re going to do one for an injured oil field worker.”
“It’s amazing what these guys do for us, ” CB&T Riverton Branch President Danielle Olheiser shared. “They help us. We always bring in over 200 children in need and they help support a good portion of them. We really appreciate them.”
