It’s been fairly rumbly southeast of Yellowstone Lake today. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has recorded 71 earthquakes in the area as of 2:15 pm today, September 10th.
While it’s not uncommon for that area to experience multiple earthquakes, prior to today, only 25 have been recorded in the same area over the last 30 days. All except for 6 have been under a 2.5 magnitude. Those 6 were recorded today.
