(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, December 9, will be partly sunny and colder behind last night’s reinforcing cold front.
Because of the associated upper-level trough still overhead, we will see widely scattered snow showers today, especially up in northeast Fremont County around Boysen Dam and the Wind River Canyon, which could see an inch of snow, possibly as much as 2 inches. Clear skies are expected tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that gusty northwest winds are expected across the area as well.
High temperatures will be in the 30’s for most today, with lows tonight in the teens and lower 20’s.
