(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, October 10, the ridge axis will be directly overhead for sunny to partly sunny skies, with partly cloudy conditions tonight.
Lipson added that for tomorrow, following partly sunny skies, a low-pressure center over the Pacific Northwest will tighten our pressure gradient slightly, resulting in southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with a few gusts of up to 30 mph. By Saturday afternoon, the broad circulation around the low-pressure center will draw some moisture northward from the south-southwest, which may result in isolated afternoon showers, especially in the Wind River Mountains.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that highs will vary across the 10 today, with the South Pass Area in the upper 50s, Dubois/Lander/Jeffrey City in the 60s, and Riverton/Shoshoni in the lower 70s. Lows tonight will be in the 40s and lower 50s for most.
