(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, July 4,will be partly sunny with an even better chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms as monsoon moisture and increasing atmospheric instability work their way into the region from the south, ahead of a stronger trough of low pressure.
Lipson says some of these storms will likely produce small hail, gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall, and most of the thunderstorm activity should be over with before most people’s firework shows, although there could still be some isolated shower activity around.
The high temperature will be cooler in the middle 80s. After the showers end, it’ll be partly cloudy with lows in the low to mid-50s.
