(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County fair was capped off Saturday night with a bang as the four-cylinder figure 8 racing brought over 3000 into the Grand Arena in Riverton. Sixty drivers battled late into the night in the destruction derby-style race hosted by ‘Rubbin is Racing.’
This year, the team added a new race to the lineup right before the finals of the figure 8. A team relay van race took place where six vans loaded with four drivers each had to complete 20 laps total, five per driver, and as each driver completed their five laps they joined the other three drivers in jumping out of the van to high five an official in front of the hood of the car before getting back in, switching drivers and completing their next five laps.
