(Lander, WY) – The City of Lander held its annual Easter egg hunt at City Park on Saturday morning, drawing more than 300 people under the cottonwood trees.
The hunt was divided into four age groups spread across the park. The oldest kids, up to age 12, searched through the nooks and crannies of the playground, while the 2- and 3-year-olds and their parents hunted out in the open on the high school baseball field.
The City of Lander provided prizes, and Community Development Coordinator Anne helped hand them out and raffle off bikes to excited kids. Each child received a free raffle ticket upon arrival and a kid from each age group won bicycle.
The weather was brisk by the standards of the winter Wyoming has had but warmer than average for 9:30 on a Lander Easter morning.
