(Fort Washakie, WY) – Fort Washakie Students joined local MMIR 307 organizer Nicole Wagon and school staff for a two-mile march from the school to the Frank B. Wise Business Center and back Tuesday afternoon as the snowstorm moved in over the mountains.
Students donned red t-shirts and made signs in classes to hold up, remembering loved ones, and to raise awareness about the missing and murdered epidemic, which affects Native American populations around the country at alarming rates.
