(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County Fair cranked up the horsepower Friday night as Monster Truck Madness took over the Grand Arena in Riverton, drawing a capacity crowd that packed the stands.
The monster trucks were the stars of the show, launching off big dirt jumps to the roar of the crowd throughout the evening.

Between truck runs, fans were treated to a full slate of racing action. Riding lawn mowers with their governors removed hit speeds of 20 to 30 miles per hour as they battled around the dirt track over several races. Half-car races added to the mayhem, with front wheel drive cars chopped in half zooming around the arena and kicking up dirt along the way.
The night added to another action-packed week at the Fremont County Fair.
The final event of the fair is the beloved 4-cylinder figure-8 racing tonight at the Grand Arena.
