(Arapahoe, WY) – The Northern Arapaho Easter Powwow was held Saturday, April 4 at Great Plains Hall in Arapahoe, Wyoming.
The grand entry began at 2 p.m. with hundreds gathering inside for the day’s festivities. Arapaho Eagle served as host drum, with Little Brave, Little Sun and Young Sky Nation making up the rest of the attending drum groups. Kalen SunRhodes emceed the event, with Kane Biglake as arena director.

Contest categories spanned all age groups, from Tiny Tots to senior men’s and women’s divisions, with styles including traditional, fancy, fancy shawl, grass, jingle dress and chicken dance.
A fun run and walk also took place in the morning at the Arapahoe Powwow Grounds. The event was sponsored in part by 2026 Northern Arapaho Powwow Queen Georgeanne Moss and Wind River Family and Community Health Care.
