A vehicle matching the description of a recent domestic violence incident was located by a Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper on I-25 Friday.
The driver failed to stop for law enforcement and continued north on I-25 at excessive speeds, according to the release. They eventually drove into the opposite lanes of travel colliding with a southbound commercial tractor-trailer.
The driver of the fleeing vehicle was ejected during the collision and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Their identity has not been released at this time.
The driver of the commercial tractor-trailer was not injured.
The investigation is still ongoing, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
