(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, November 17, a low-pressure center will track east, right across the Wind River Basin this morning, and will exit off to the east of us this afternoon. Expect rain showers in the morning with intervals of sun by afternoon. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will also be present this morning around the backside of the exiting low-pressure center.
Togwotee Pass will likely see six to eight inches of new snow by early this afternoon, Lipson added, and South Pass could see around an inch of new snow tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that highs will be in the 40s and 50s for most areas today, with lows tonight in the 30s.
