For the past seven years, the Hampton Inn & Suites in Riverton has created an interactive holiday tradition for its employees. Traditionally, it has been some kind of hunt that involves following clues, teamwork, and of course some friendly competition amongst the staff.
This year, General Manager Ryan Preston decided to do something a little different. “I thought this year doing something for others just felt right. To do a Christmas event that truly created something different for us and our community, to bring us together by creating one act of kindness. Something that would embody teamwork but spread and pay forward.”
With directions to do whatever they wanted to create happiness for those outside of the hotel – the Hampton Inn & Suites staff jumped in to spread joy within the community.
So far, those acts of kindness have ranged from donating packs of disinfectant to Fremont County School District #25, distributed goody bags, delivered lunches, and more. Check out a few photos below of the random acts of kindness submitted by staff so far.

h/t Ryan Preston – Jenna K and Trinity delivered Lunch to the Riverton Senior center staff since it is closed to our elderly, a local drug and alcohol recovery center, and Fremont County Sheriff’s Department. Providing laughs and smiles for 42 wonderful people.
The friendly competition is also playing a role in this year’s mission – they want Fremont County residents to vote for their favorite random act of kindness.
