(Fremont County, WY) – As of 10 AM on August 22, the Fremont County Emergency Management Agency has shared that the evacuation warning and mandatory evacuation notices for specific areas in Fremont County, in response to the Red Canyon Fire, have been decreased to the “Ready” stage.
The following zones are in the “Ready” stage:
- Zone 3 – Geodicke Draw East to North Bridger Creek
- Zone 4 – North Bridger Creek
- Zone 5 – North Bridger Creek to Nowood Road
- Zone 6 – Nowood Road to Natrona County line
- Zone 8 – Middle Bridger Creek
Under the “Ready” status, residents may return to their homes if they had evacuated the area, but should:
- Remain prepared to evacuate again should conditions change
- Continue to monitor official Fremont County channels, local media, and emergency personnel instructions
