(Fremont County, WY) – The Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service in Riverton (NWSR) for Fremont County yesterday continues today, September 30, until 7 PM this evening.
The warning was issued due to strong gusty winds (up to 35 mph) and relatively low humidity (as low as 12%), which could cause erratic fire behavior.
The warning is also in effect for Hot Springs, Natrona, Uinta, Lincoln, Sublette and Sweetwater counties.
Burning of any kind is discouraged.
