(Riverton, WY) – The 46th Annual Riverton Rendezvous Balloon Rally continued Saturday morning with dreamy weather conditions. Temperatures sat in the mid 60s at sunrise as hundreds of spectators gathered at the CWC soccer fields to watch the balloons inflate and glow against the early light as they were lifted over the town.

After the launch, tethered rides gave folks on the ground a chance to float a few stories up and take in the view for themselves without the drama or cost of the real thing.

The rally runs through Sunday, with balloons launching each morning around 6 a.m., weather permitting. The fun continues tonight with the balloon glow at the launch field, featuring live music and food trucks, followed by fireworks at about 10 p.m.
