County 10 has received multiple reports of a phone scam from Fremont County residents today. We connected with Lander Police Department and they are aware of the scam.
Reports to us note the phone call or voicemail says something like, “Your social security number has been suspended.”
There are multiple reports online about this scam and to not provide your social security number to them. A recent article about the scam can be found here.
