(Riverton, WY) – The City of Riverton EDGE (Evolve, Diversify, and Grow our Economy) Committee has begun accepting applications for proposed economic development projects.
The current application period runs from Sunday, September 1, 2024, through Monday,
September 30, 2024. Applications are available on the City’s homepage under Optional Half Percent Tax. Please email the completed application to EDGE@rivertonwy.gov. All
applications must be delivered via email for acceptance.
A Special Meeting for consideration of applications will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Riverton City Hall Council Chambers. Applicants will present requests to the EDGE Committee (Please be prepared to provide handouts to the committee regarding your requests). The public is invited and welcome to attend.
The EDGE Committee was established by the Riverton City Council on September 1, 2020,
through Resolution No. 1422. The purpose and scope of the activities of this Committee shall be:
- To review and evaluate economic development applications for funding through use of 1/2 cent economic development tax as approved by the voters.
- Consider and review economic development projects as requested by the Riverton City Council.
- Initiate economic development proposals and forward them to the Riverton City Council as recommendations for consideration.
