Last week, the Riverton Fire Department shared Captain Jake Blumenshine was presented the Firefighter of the Year award by the American Legion Post 19.
The RFD announcement also noted, Capt. Blumenshine was named District Firefighter of the Year. That award will be presented at a later date.
