(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Garden Club recently announced that it will be holding a patriotic yard contest to coincide with this year’s semiquincentennial celebrations.
“We have been getting good response from our Yard of the Month announcements and wanted to do something to forward the 250th Anniversary Celebration in Riverton on the 4th of July,” Riverton Garden Club Vice President Kendra Bogacz shared.
The contest details are below.
1) Entry must be within the Riverton city limits, submitted by email to rivertonwygardenclub@yahoo.com or via Facebook Messenger @ Riverton WY Garden Club by 6 pm on July 2. Entry must include your name and address and telephone number.
2) Yard must contain flowers or plants and can include Patriotic decor.
3) On July 3rd all entries will be toured by the Riverton Garden Club judges and they will choose the winner.
4) The winner will be contacted and their picture taken on July 3rd
5) The winner will be awarded a gift basket from the Riverton Garden Club and a small removable sign will be placed in the yard declaring them the “RIVERTON GARDEN CLUB PATRIOTIC YARD CONTEST WINNER”
