(Riverton, WY) – Community members gathered Monday at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton for a Memorial Day service honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States.
Participants included Commander Nancy Eustice, Chaplain Ed McAuslan and Vice Commander Warren Hess of American Legion Post 19; Commander Levi Sauer and Auxiliary President Tina Shaw of VFW Post 3628; Ginger Frost, President of American Legion Post 19; Commander Luis Vargas of the Wyoming Marine Corps League; Karl Falken of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and Sons of the American Revolution; and Compatriot Jordan Yager of the Sons of the American Revolution.
“I would like to thank everyone who came and participated,” Nancy Eustice, Commander American Legion Riverton Post 19, shared with County 10. “The Service would not have come together without all the hard work of everyone involved. The setting up of the service, thank you Chuck Arndt, to those involved in the service to all those who came to give their respects on the 250 Anniversary of this great country of which I have been honored to serve.”
