(Riverton, WY) – According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, a record low temperature for the month of March of -8 degrees was recorded at the Riverton Airport yesterday.
The previous record was -4 degrees in 2002.
Riverton also broke records for both liquid precipitation and snowfall daily maximums.
Record low temperatures were also recorded in Buffalo (-2) and Casper, with Casper breaking an almost 60 year record at -25 degrees.
