(Riverton, WY) – Riverton High School volleyball is hoping for a post-season run beginning this weekend.
Riverton went 7-21 overall during the regular season and 2-4 in the 4A southwest quadrant. The Lady Wolverines won a 5-set thriller on senior day Saturday, knocking off Star Valley. They’ll hope to take that momentum into regionals Friday and Saturday at Natrona County High School in Casper.
Riverton opens with Green River at 2:30 p.m. on Halloween. They’ll either face Evanston or Natrona County after that in the double-elimination style tournament. The top four advance to the state tournament in Casper November 6-8.
