(Riverton, WY) – The Fremont County School District #25 Board of Trustees will convene for their regular meeting on Tuesday, June 11, at 7 p.m. in the Board Chambers located at 121 North 5th Street. This meeting is open to the public and can be watched via YouTube.
The evening will include Frontier Academy Graduations for Isaiah Christopher King and Jada Lucille Frank.
The Board will act on nine action items, which are as follows:
The Superintendent is recommending the Board approve the WHSAA Membership Application and Activity Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year and Reggie Miller as the official WHSAA Representative for FCSD25.
Aziz Waheed is requesting the Board approve the Riverton Middle School Student Handbook for the 2024-2025 school year. There are no changes from the current handbook.
To comply with statute, the Board needs to annually approve the entrance of buses from
other districts into our district to load and discharge students. The Superintendent recommends the Board approve the inter-district transportation with Fremont County School Districts No. 1, 2, 6, 14, 24 and 38.
The staff survey results for the 2025-2026 school calendar are as follows: Calendar C 51.9% of the votes; Calendar D 48.1% of the votes. The Superintendent is recommending the Board adopt Calendar C for the 2025-2026 school year.
The lease agreement amount for the 2024-2025 school year for the Fremont County Board of Cooperative Education Services office in Rendezvous Elementary School is $2,223.41. The Superintendent is recommending the Board approve the Lease Agreement with FCBOCES for the offices in Rendezvous Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year in the amount of $2,223.41.
Colton Pollard is requesting the Board award a bid to Fremont Chevrolet GMC of
Riverton, WY for the purchase of one 2023 GMC Savana or equivalent at $60,382.00.
This purchase is for a Food Service delivery vehicle with ESSER funding. This was the
only bid received. The Superintendent is recommending the Board award the bid to Fremont Chevrolet GMC of Riverton, WY for the purchase of one 2023 GMC Savana or equivalent for a total bid amount of $60,382.00.
Ed McPherson is recommending the Board approve Change Order No. 1 with Sampson
Construction Company, Inc. in the amount $12,634.11 for RHS Auditorium Project. The
change order is to change doors and hardware for nine doors to achieve a 45 minute rated
assembly. Funding split, State Construction Department (91.17%) at $11,518.52 and
District funds (8.83%) at $1,115.59. The Superintendent is recommending the Board approve Change Order No. 1 with Sampson Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $12,634.11 for nine doors and hardware for the Riverton High School Auditorium Project.
We have received a letter of resignation from Rendezvous Speech Language Pathologist
Jennifer Hamilton. The Superintendent is recommending the Board accept the resignation of Jennifer Hamilton as a Rendezvous Speech Language Pathologist effective immediately.
The Superintendent is recommending the Board offer a contract to Emily Chapman as a Rendezvous Elementary SPED Teacher; Venessa Wiginton as a Riverton High School Assistant Cheer Coach for the 2024-2025 school year.
