UPDATE: The WYDOT District 5 Facebook page has shared the following details about the crash:
“A hay truck rolled on its side between the two campgrounds (milepost 115) south of the tunnels in Wind River Canyon. WYDOT was on scene to clean up hay spilled on the highway. U.S. 20 is currently closed to allow a wrecker to pull the truck back on to its wheels.”
UPDATE: As of 3:50 PM, crews are in the process of crash cleanup. The road is no longer closed completely, but a travel lane is blocked between Shoshoni and Thermopolis at milepost 115.0. WYDOT says to “be prepared to stop, expect delays.”
(Fremont County, WY) – As of 3:29, January 15, US 20 / WY 789 between Shoshoni and Boysen Dam is closed due to a crash.
