9th annual Rocking the Winds Foundation Charity Event starts on July 26th at 5:00 pm and ends on July 28th at 5:00 pm.
The event is hosted at the Grizzly Rock Ranch in Crowheart, Wyoming. Entry fee is a tax-deductible donation amount of your choosing. Brian Bewley, event coordinator, notes each year the entry fee donations go to different charities. This year is the Task Force Dagger Foundation which supports all U.S. Special Forces Command Service Members and their families.
Brian shares the event attendees and donation amounts have fluctuated over the years ranging from 12-500 people in attendance and raising approximately $2,500-$5,000 in donations each year.
Event activities include: various shooting competitions, live music nightly, horse-shoe tournament, food and drink, raffles, vendors, bike rides and Poker Runs. Camping is available on-site.
