(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Police Department has shared a “heads up” for Riverton residents in the area of S. 1st Street, after a homeowner shared security camera footage of a mountain lion prowling in their yard late Tuesday night.

RPD said the “curious visitor” was spotted a “couple of times” last night around midnight, and that Wyoming Game and Fish was made aware, adding, “We would like to remind everyone to stay aware of your surroundings.”
