(Lander, WY) – The Lander Police Department announced today a new officer recently completed field training and has joined their team. While the team may be new, Officer Ryan Wangberg has been a part of local law enforcement for nearly a decade.
He served with the Riverton Police Department for the past 9 years in various capacities, according to LPD. Most recently serving as a Patrol Sergeant.
“Officer Wangberg brings a wealth of leadership, knowledge, and experience to Lander,” said LPD in their announcement. He is a proficient firearms instructor as well as a taser instructor.
He was sworn in on March 16th by the Honorable Lander Municipal Court Judge Teresa McKee.
