The Lander Chamber of Commerce is organizing a new campaign during the week of January 19th-25th. Fremont County Restaurant Week presented by Fremont Toyota will highlight culinary establishments across Wyoming’s Wind River Country who will be offering special pricing on select menu items to entice diners to sample the many flavors of Fremont County.
“Restaurant weeks are popular in many towns and cities across the country,” said Lander Chamber CEO Owen Sweeney, “and we think one here in Fremont County will go over well. We’re already hearing positive comments from restaurateurs and diners alike, so it looks like we may be onto something.”
The pricing at each participating location will include at least one menu item at the of the following price points: $10.00 for County 10, $18.84 for the year Fremont County was established, and $52.25 for the average elevation of the towns in Fremont County.
“This will be a great opportunity for folks to enjoy their local favorites and also discover a few new ones,” continued Sweeney. “But it’s also a way to help support local businesses and the regional economy. The time between New Years and St. Valentine’s Day is historically pretty dead for restaurants. We want to help them while also giving locals around the county a chance to enjoy a night out at a discount.”
“Fifteen restaurants have signed up to participate already,” said Meghan Manning, Program & Event Coordinator for the Lander Chamber, “and we’re expecting more to join them. Interested restaurants can register online or they can just call us at the Chamber.
