(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, June 14, will be partly to mostly sunny with isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms forming this afternoon along a dry line.
Lipson says the best chance of any thunderstorm activity is once again expected to occur in northeast Fremont County, where more moisture and higher dew points will be present, namely Shoshoni, Boysen Reservoir, the Wind River Canyon, Moneta Lysite, and Lost Cabin. These storms could produce 45 to 55 mph wind gusts along with small hail and locally heavy rainfall.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also advised that today’s weather will again be most severe around Johnson County.
High temperatures will be in the 80’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 50’s.
