(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that the high pressure ridge to the east of our area will amplify today, August 13, which will allow for higher temperatures, and the monsoonal moisture will continue to stream into Wyoming from the southwest.
Lipson says this will result in scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms, some with locally heavy rainfall, small hail and wind gusts up to 45 mph, under partly sunny skies. These storms will continue into tonight under partly cloudy skies.
High temperatures for today will be in the 80’s for most, with lows tonight in the 50’s.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared the expected rainfall through tonight below.
