(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, July 7, a weak frontal boundary, an upper-level shortwave trough, will traverse the area, which will result in increasing northwest winds of 25-35 mph and gusts of 40 mph this afternoon. In addition, Lipson says we can expect scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms, some with 45-55 mph wind gusts, locally heavy rainfall, small hail, and highs around 90 degrees.
Tonight, widely scattered evening thunderstorms will continue, ending by midnight, with partly cloudy skies, lows in the mid to upper 50s, and west-northwest winds becoming north at 15-25 mph.
