(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that another upper-level weather disturbance will be tracking east across the Central Rockies today, November 24, which will produce scattered rain and snow showers in our area.
Lipson says these showers will start mainly in the Jeffrey City area, then will spread throughout Fremont County by this afternoon. Any snow accumulation will be in higher elevations like Sinks Canyon, Wind River Mountains, and the South Pass/Beaver Rim area.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also shared that temperatures will be colder, returning to more seasonal readings as a cold front moves through the area, and that snow should end by this evening with clearing skies.
High temperatures will be in the lower 40’s for most today, with Dubois at 30 degrees and the South Pass area in the upper 20’s.
Lows tonight will be in the 20’s and lower 30’s.
