(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, March 6, will see continued scattered rain and snow showers as the trough of low pressure and embedded low pressure center tracks across Wyoming and out into the high plains.
Under partly sunny skies today, the high temperature will be a bit cooler behind last night’s cold front, with a high temperature in the mid 40s; north winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour will make it feel even cooler.
By 11 AM, we should see less than an inch of snow in Shoshoni, around an inch of snow in Riverton, one to three inches of snow on hilltops within the Wind River Basin, one to three inches in the Lander foothills, and up to three to six inches on Beaver Rim, South Pass, and Togwotee Pass.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows of 15 to 20 degrees.
