(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, April 4, our area is directly underneath a trough axis, which will destabilize the air mass, resulting in widely scattered rain and snow showers, with partly sunny skies as the day goes on.
The widely scattered snow showers are expected to continue into tonight under mostly cloudy skies.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also shared that temperatures will be cooler today as a result of the cold front and cloud cover, but warmer temperatures are on the way, with a warm-up expected starting this weekend and continuing into next week.
High temperatures will be in the 30’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 20’s.
